Li Sen Li

suffers from cerebral palsy. Due largely to lack of education in the village, Li Sen Li and her family receive little to no help. Local people have assumed that her condition is contagious and shunned the family. HAND spends time educating, breaking down

misconceptions while doing its best to be sensitive to local cultural. The situation is improving, the the family receiving some much needed help, we are also investigating a form of brace to help Li Sen Si sit unsupported. Volunteer students from Guangdong Biguiyuan IB International School are currently sending monthly financial support to Li Sen Li's family.
