Party Representative of Pihe Town, Mr. Shi helps us to organize events, makes arrangements for volunteers as well as the logistics of transporting patients to hospitals. Mr. Shi is also helping HAND research its wider objectives of creating wider scale hygiene projects and job opportunities in the area.

Project Director
Olivia Wong (one from the right), a business lady from Guangzhou. It was Olivia who expertly negotiated with the local government to allow HAND to operate in the area and who continues to liaise with our local coordinator and to direct volunteers.

Medical Manager
Jeff is a certified Emergency Medical Technician a highly trained nurse and a professional special needs teacher based in Hong Kong. During Jeff’s vacations he travels to the Nujiang area to help treat patients and refer others to hospital for treatment that HAND pays for. Jeff has already helped several hundred patients in this fashion.

Education Manager
Nicola works for an NGO in Thailand where she also serves as an Education Manager.
Nicola designs all of our teaching materials and has made successful bids for funding and has traveled to Nujiang to undertake a hygiene programme which she designed.
