Our Health Educators are also teachers in the area. For now their main role is to let local people know that an organization is prepared to pay for their medical bills, carry out first aid as well to conduct hygiene classes.
They are also helping us to record family health records so we can assess the health needs of the area.
This role will expand as we train our staff to include promotion of nutrition, sanitation, better use of crops and we hope creating community care groups.
