Yue Li Qin, a Nu Chinese minority girl was 14 when we first met her. After crawling into a fire as a baby, her wounds had gone untreated resulting in crippling deformity, an infection that threatened her losing her leg and potentially her life. |

After successful negotiations we were allowed to become the first foreign operated organisation working in Qin's village (Zhiziluo Village) and around the 9 Nu Chinese minority people villages in Nujiang area. Mr. Mu Li Duo (forth left), a Fugong Foreign Affairs Officer, welcoming Qin home to Zhi Zi Luo Village. |
